What is DISC Profile?

The DISC Personal Development Profile (PDP) is a self-assessment instrument for identifying individual preferences used to improve productivity, teamwork and communication. The PDP is not a test, there are no right or wrong answers, nor is one profile better than the other.

This instrument has more than 50 years of research and development and is based on the work of Psychologist William Marston, identifying 4 types of preferences:

  • Dominance – how you deal with problems and challenges
  • Influence – how you deal with people and influence others
  • Stability – how it handles change and its pace
  • Compliance – how you deal with established rules and procedures
