Gender Equality Plan challenges
Experiencing discrimination can be impacted on multiple and intersecting identities, including race, religion, ethnicity, migrant status, sexual identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or socioeconomic status. These individual characteristics make individuals more vulnerable in the workplace and in society.
Despite it's growing awareness companies are still struggling with how to approach the issues resulting on discrimination at work, despite how it may affect its business productivity and sales values.
To bring forth an environment that endorses individuality and difference, organizations must inspire, educate and support those previously underrepresented as well as those who have always been represented. This is the way in which perceptions will change, and a culture of togetherness and inclusivity will prosper.
