The challenge of managing stress
The trouble with dealing with anxiety and stress is that, as in almost all things, moderation is key.
Anxiety happens when the mind is faced with an unpredictable situation where it can't calculate comfortably what is going to happen, entering, therefore, in a state of stress. This is not something bad. If you are faced with danger, this stress and anxiety is what will protect you by pointing out what will help survive that. As such, a moderate level of stress is necessary for a sense of protection. But what happens when the stress is too much?
It is when the anxiety starts to negatively affect your relationships, work, and your ability to succeed that it needs to be addressed and managed.
