The stumbling block in dealing with anxiety and stress is that, as with most things, moderation is key.
Anxiety happens when the mind is faced with an unpredictable situation where it cannot comfortably calculate what will happen. That's not bad. If you are faced with danger, that stress and anxiety is what will protect you, detecting what will help you survive. As such, a moderate level of stress is necessary for a feeling of protection. But what happens when the stress is too much?
It is when anxiety starts to negatively affect relationships, work and your ability to succeed that it needs to be addressed and managed.
